Caylee Anthony's attorney, Jose Baez, came to the rescue of his own spokesman, Todd Black, after Black said on a CNN national news show that implied that Caylee Anthony was dead. This has brought about a news frenzy about the issue. In my opinion there was no mis-interpretation about what Black said. Baez is out to do clean-up now, and failed miserably.

What do you think???

BTW.... the Casey Kool Aid remark is a common remark.... for instance "they're all drinking kool aid" meaning they are all following a person blindly... It comes from the Jones-town massacre when all the followers drank the kool aid that it's leader made and died.

Someone drinking Casey kool aid would be believing blindly in what Casey says even though evidence proves differently... eg.... Cindy Anthony.... drinking Casey kool aid.... sooo the guy making the remark was NOT joking around... he was making a point. IMO

I hope that made sense.

I think that Todd Black's slip of the tongue revealed what he really thought about Caylee. Casey knows what happened to her baby and she knows where she is. She has done nothing to help the police or even her own family with trying to find her because she knows that her baby is no longer here. She has done nothing but lie and besides her actions have spoken louder than anything she has said. Partying was always more important to her than her baby or her family.

Hello folks.  I'm (obviously) a newbie.

I think that Baez is doing damage control and that Black made an incredibly stupid statement that will get him fired when this case is over.

What I continue to wonder about are statements by Baez that imply that they [we] are continuing to look for Caylee.

On this clip he say, “We are actively looking for her [Caylee].”  It seems it would help his client for him to be specific about that sort of statement instead of being vague at best and seemingly disingenuous at worst.

HE COULD TELL THE MEDIA:  How the search being done.  If a firm hired to help in the search.  What types of venues are being used in the search.  Etc.  Vagueness doesn’t garnish trust.  It does just the opposite.

That would not break privilege.  It would give credibility to Casey’s potential jurors and if ANYONE needs credibility, it is Casey after her non-stop lies.

I totally agree. Why not say what they're doing to search for Caylee. I haven't seen George or Cindy on any planes to identify possibilities either.

This is one mixed up family.
